Scott has a total of 16 years flying experience, 6500+ hours helicopter, his experience includes:
- 750+ hours Multi engine command helicopter
- 5 seasons in Canada and 1 year in Papua New Guinea on mining support
- Arctic experience in Canada’s North
- Extensive snow and flat light experience
- Frost fighting
- Heliski operations
- Long line operations
- Fire fighting in Australia and Canada
- Medivac & SAR operations
- Aerial photography and filming experience
- Scenic operations throughout the West Coast, Mt Cook, Southern Lakes and Fiordland areas
