Prepare to be overwhelmed by the Magnificent Beauty of our local Glaciers. Fly from Queenstown Airport over Arthur’s Point and the Moonlight River before crossing the Haast Schist belts of the Richardson Mountains to reveal the head of Lake Wakatipu and the Rees and Dart rivers. Cruise down into the terminal of Earnslaw Burn Glacier for breathtaking photographs of the dramatic sweeps of ice and cascading waterfalls which cover the Southern aspects of the Mountain, before heading across to the splendid Jura Glacier on the Eastern side of the Forbes Mountain range. From here you will can observe the stunning Mount Aspiring and Mount Tutoko- highest peak in Fiordland- in the distance before embarking on your return to Queenstown Airport. |

For a spectacular view of the Wakatipu and Queenstown area, we fly to the top of The Remarkables Mountain Range. The route from Queenstown Airport takes in the Shotover and Kawarau rivers before ascending along the face of the Remarkables to land high above Lake Wakatipu. This gives you the opportunity to stand on top of the mountains for spectacular photographs. Back on board the helicopter you fly out across the lake towards Queenstown township before flying over Queenstown Hill on your return to the airport. |

Sit back and enjoy the views and commentary as the helicopter takes off from Queenstown Airport. Fly over the Dart and Hollyford Valleys, with panoramic views of Mt Earnslaw and Lake McKerrow. The Ngapunatora Plateau, below Mt Tutoko, provides an opportunity for spectacular views from Fiordlands highest mountain and down to the West Coast of New Zealand. From here we descend towards the West Cost Fiordland coastline. Enjoy vistas of the Tasman Sea and the Beech forest covered mountains on our way into Milford Sound glacial Fiord, passing the well-recognised Mitre Peak. Optional landing at Milford Sound airport. Follow the world renowned Milford Track up the Arthur Valley to the spectacular Sutherland Falls, the second highest waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere (1900 ft/ 680m). Leaving the Sutherland Falls, we fly past the Mackinnon Pass (the highest point of the Milford Track) and with a last look down the Clinton Valley, we are homeward bound for Queenstown with glimpses of Lake Te Anau along the way. |

From here we follow a gentle descent to Milford Sound via the rainforest of the Tutoko or Harrison Valley with a spectacular view of Mitre Peak before landing at Milford Airport for photos.
